Deuce

Deuce is a 6 year old handsome brown and white heavy wool. Freshly gelded, he still has a bit of the "big boy" attitude of being top male.

Right now, he is being worked with to help him understand not to cluck and pose (and spit) at his human counterparts. So far, he is showing real promise and does everything asked of him although still very dominant.

Mr. Deuce will need a llama savvy owner to continue work in this field as he still continues to be a challenge to his human counterparts.

Gianna

This beauty enjoyed living with a herd of 11 for several years, until circumstances beyond her control resulted in the herd being separated. For the last year, Gianna has been in three different homes, but she would love to settle down with a family of her own again.

She is a very friendly medium-wooled llama with black fiber, approximately 5-6 years old. Won't you consider adopting this sweet-natured girl and giving her the forever home that she deserves?

Rachel est DOB: 2006

Rachel Rachel is a light cream short wooled llama with black nose & eye patches. She is a very sweet young lady and will eat out of your hand. Rachel's foster home has been working with her and she has come a long way with she will come along nicely with a bit of patience and love. Originally severely underweight, Rachel has regained the weight she needed to become the beautiful lady we know she could be. Rachel is ready to join your family!

Mahogany: DoB 11/27/01

Mahogany's name is descriptive of her color - a deep reddish brown medium wool female. Although Mahogany will come for feed, she is relatively untrained and is resistant to haltering. She is relatively calm however, and with a bit of attention should shape up nicely. She is currently pregnant and we are anxiously awaiting the birth of her cria. Once her baby is born she will be available for adoption and her adoption fee covers her cria as well.

Fancy Girl DoB: 12/24/99

Fancy Girl- Medium Wooled female
Fancy looks much like Mahogany with the exception of a white mouth. She is also relatively untrained although she never once spit during all we put her through on "induction day". Fancy is currently pregnant and should be giving birth soon. Once her baby is born she will be available for adoption along with her offspring. A single adoption fee covers them both.

Tops: DoB: Estimated 2000 - 2002

Poor Tops! Originally rescued in North Dakota with her cria Laci, Tops had been running on barren acreage and had probably never been touched. She arrived in March of 2005 and spent 2 years in foster care before being adopted along with Laci in 2007. Now unfortunately her adoptive parents must downsize their herd so Tops is once again looking for a home to call her own. She remains fairly aloof and difficult to halter as she uses her height to her advantage. She is a tall muscular gal who might possibly be trained as a recreational packer although she will definitely require some patience to convince her that she will enjoy the compromise

Laci DoB: Estimated late 2004

Light wooled Female
Laci looks just like her mom Tops but is a social "wanna be" who is inquisitive and friendly although quite wary. She appears to be very bonded to her Mom but we would consider placing her separately in hopes that she would socialize more quickly without the influence of her more aloof mother.

Phantom

Medium wooled Male
Phantom is the sole male survivor of a group of approximately 30+ animals who were systematically starved. He was seized in February of this year along with eight other llamas, two of whom subsequently died due to their extremely comprised condition.

We surmise that he survived by jumping out of his enclosure in order to browse on his own. Phantom has not shown any inclination to jump, possibly because of his recent gelding and the fact that he has readily available food. This animal has been on his own for a long while and will require time and attention to re-introduce him to haltering and general handling.
